About The founders

A British-trained medical doctor, John brought real-world clinical and international recruitment experience to the business. He now leads Wavelength's strategic direction and heads Ccentric, the group's executive search brand, focused on healthcare leadership and board appointments.

Born in Wales, Claire moved to Australia bringing with her a strong human resources background in healthcare, including experience as a rising executive leader for a large regional health service in the UK. She represents Wavelength as an industry leader and sits on a number of boards, She chairs the Wavelength board,

John and Claire met in 1997, at a large Sydney recruitment firm. Building on their friendship they saw an opportunity to create an ethical workforce business designed specifically for healthcare providers. In 1999, they founded The Wavelength Group. Over twenty-seven years later, they're still running it together.
